Abstract
Game Development has become much easier than in the past. The difference today is, that games are not programmed from the scratch. Instead APIs and game engines are used, which have the most common game features included into their system. Moreover in some engines the users can provide assets for other developers to use. These assets can be 3D models, materials or even programmed systems, which provide additional functionalities for the engine. This project provides a rain and snow effect system for the Unreal Engine 4. This effect can be applied to a whole scene or different areas. It was created through different dynamic material effects. The Effect was created by using several methods of the build in material editor.
